Note to Self 🦋

Note to Self

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you said yes when you really wanted to say no

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you dimmed your light to make other people feel comfortable

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you compared yourself to any other person

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you let someone walk into your life and leave with a piece of you

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you settled and thought you weren’t enough

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you let somebody play with you and your worth

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you didn’t speak up for yourself

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you doubted yourself and your superpower

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you were the toxic one in the situation

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you took things and life for granted

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you internalized your own trauma and lashed out at people

It’s okay, I forgive you

For every time you counted yourself out

It’s okay, I forgive YOU

Life is all about growth! When you know better, you do better!

Quotes Matter

One of my favorite quotes is by Marianne Williamson.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Daily Affirmations

My affirmations that I recite every morning are:

I am fine because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Can't nobody DO ME, being ME is my SUPERPOWER!

I am fearless because I choose to operate in faith over fear! God didn't create fear!

I am powerful because I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me!

I am enough because I honor where I am and I know where I'm going!

Reasons I’m Grateful

The real flex is staying grateful through it all!

It's so important to cultivate the habit of being grateful. Gratitude turns rejection into acceptance, contradiction into clarity, and fear into faith. A moment of gratitude can change everything!

I am grateful that God never took His hand off of my life.

I am grateful for His grace and mercy.

I am grateful for Him being better to me than I've been to myself.

I am grateful that He loves me unconditional and is helping me see myself the way He does.

I am grateful for my family and friends.

I am grateful for the good and bad because it made me who I am today.

I am grateful for peace of mind.

I am grateful for love and life, itself!
